Southwestern Vibe Twined Rag Rug. 36” x 30” READY TO SHIP Hand Woven Reversible Rug/Mat
This rug was twined (handwoven) using new, pre-washed gray, red, turquoise and off white fabric. It is completely reversible and machine washable! All joins were machine stitched together and all edges turned in.
The rug measures 36” x 30". A perfect size to use as a shower mat / rug or in your kitchen, vanity, or your entryway.
Twined rugs or placemats are made by wrapping or twinning material on a loom. The vertical pieces of fabric is called the warp. This rug is made from new cotton / cotton blend material for both the warp and the weft (material running horizontal that is twined). This same method was used to make the rug.
Since I machine stitch all joins, there isn’t any bumps or knots. The back is the same as the front, so this rug is totally reversible.
Twined rugs are very sturdy and will last for many years! They are machine washable! Lay flat or hang to dry.

I am THRILLED with this rug! It is beautiful and so finely crafted! I am as happy as I can be that I was able to buy rugs hand made with cotton in the USA. The price is more than reasonable for this fine quality rug. I can tell it will stand up to, well, being a rug and will wash fine, no dryer. It is a good sized rug so it has some weight to it and it stays in place. And shipping was fast and free! it got here very fast.
