My love of rugs and fabric are two main reasons the rug division of Crafty Ladies began . I've been an avid knitter and crocheter for more years than I care to admit, but during another long midwest winter I felt I wanted (and needed) to try my hand at something new. Twining rugs ----that was the answer! Selecting colorful fabric and weaving strips into beautiful rugs that would add a pop of color to any room, or keep the outdoors at the door, or keep your feet happy while doing dishes, AND last for years and years .... that's what I set out to create. I am still perfecting my technique, and some times what my fingers weave looks nothing like the vision I had in my head forcing me to start over, my passion for rugs hasn't changed!
